SOFTISH LUT PACK

You guys seemed to like how I color graded my videos so I decided to release my SOFTISH LUT PACK.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, see it in action:

This package contains three LUTs:

• SOFTISH LUT
• GREENISH LUT (+ extra MOODY version with an exposure adjustment)
• BLUEISH LUT

Besides, you'll find two versions of each look:

• Original version: It converts from slog3 - rec.709
• DWG - DWG: if you color grade in Davinci Wide Gammut, this version can be applied between the CSTs and applies the transformation directly in the DWG color space.

For optimal performance, I always over-expose my images between 1.7 and 2 stops. The workflow would be as follows:

1. Apply the LUT
2. Add an exposure correction tool BEFORE the LUT. If it's Davinci Resolve, it's a node BEFORE the LUT node. You can also group clips and add the node in the POST-CLIP section and correct the exposure manually in each clip.
3. Tweak the exposure until you get the desired result. You may also need to tweak your white balance in this step but that depends on the shot
4. (Optional) Apply some other FXs such as Halation or Grain

If you are using another color space, this LUT can work but you need to transform the input so it matches the specs above.

Note that for achieving perfect results, it is CRUCIAL to get the exposure right before applying the LUT.
