GREENISH LUT
If you are struggling with achieving a cinematic look consistently and nearly effortlessly, I have something for you: GREENISH LUT
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, see it in action:
Spend LESS time color grading
Probably this is going to sound familiar to you. You've spent hours filming and editing your new shiny video and you're happy with the result, but now it's time to get that extra edge... It's time to color grade it 😰.
Yeah, you like color grading, but it's a struggle. You can't help but spending tons of hours on it yet in some cases, your skin tones are closer to a Dorito than to something believable.
You'd be fine with putting in the hours and the reps provided you got decent results, but it's still far from what you'd like.
I've been there, and I'm so proud to say that these days, color grading takes me less than 15'. I don't even have a dedicated color grading step in my editing pipeline yet I'm achieving results that were impossible for my younger self when I started creating.
My system for this is simple: I'm using overall looks like GREENISH LUT. I apply my look, and all of the clips in my timeline go through it. Then I just need to make some minor tweaks to the exposure and white balance (some hues ocasionally) but 80% of my work is already done.
And what's even better, everything looks consistent across my timeline.
That is why I created GREENISH. It is designed to work as an overall look. Besides, by preserving the middle gray point, the exposure remains unmodified TL;DR, it lands more smoothly across shots with different nature.
What's included?
In this package, you'll find three versions of it:
- DWG - DWG (recommended): if you color grade in Davinci Wide Gammut, this version can be applied between the CSTs and applies the transformation directly in the DWG color space.
- S-Log3/S-Gammut3.Cine - Rec.709/Gamma 2.2
- S-Log3/S-Gammut3.Cine - Rec.709/Gamma 2.4
- Moody version: A darker version with an exposure adjustment. It converts from S-Log3/S-Gammut3.Cine - Rec.709/Gamma 2.2
However, if you want to get the whole package 100% editable that lets you control not only the look but the amount of digital softening, you can purchase the GREENISH PowerGrade.
